Architectural Restoration
Job description: Frank Lloyd Wright, Winslow House, River Forest, IL Wright's first independent commission, 1894. Through a licensing agreement with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, we made a flawless mold of the decorative carved insert on the front door of the Winslow House. The panel is a stylized carving of an oak tree canopy. Production tooling was made from the site mold for manufacturing purposes. "...I was concerned that the original finish would be discolored when they made the mold...
